FanSided's MLB insider Robert Murray has predicted Los Angeles Dodgers World Series star Jack Flaherty will land a contract worth over $100 million.
The Los Angeles Dodgers dominantly won the 2024 World Series, partly due to their ace Jack Flaherty, and his excellent Game 1 start. Flaherty was a 2024 trade deadline acquisition and he more than proved the Dodgers right in acquiring him.But now he's a free agent, and he can sign with any team he wants. Teams like the Boston Red Sox, New York Mets, San Francisco Giants, Toronto Blue Jays, and Detroit Tigers all make plenty of sense as potential landing spots.
'In polling different executives and agents around baseball, the feeling I get is that it's entirely possible that Jack Flaherty signs a contract worth over $100 million,' Murray wrote. 'It's unclear what team will give Flaherty that contract – it's unlikely that the Dodgers would do that – but the right-hander is in position to cash in this offseason.
