The chief exec of Dodge and Ram will retire this June, with both roles replaced by two familiar execs from within Stellantis.

The shuffle at the top comes amid a shift in corporate strategy to downsized internal combustion and electrified powertrains going forward, and the CEO's replacement has already been announced.

Kuniskis is well-known for introducing high-horsepower, fan-favorite models often featuring the corporate Hemi V-8 engine, which is no longer going to be offered in any model for any brand going forward. Instead, Kuniskis oversaw development of its more efficient replacement, the Hurricane family of inline-cylinder engines, currently offered in, with an I-4 version rumored to be just around the corner.
