CEBU CITY, Philippines – Cebu City released its guidelines for the general community quarantine to be implemented here. Cebu City Mayor Edgar Labella on Sunday, May 31, signed Executive Order No. 79 which took effect immediately. Cebu City was supposed to be placed under modified enhanced community quarantine. But that was appealed by Labella and approved by the national government's Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases on Saturday, May 30.
