🇭🇰 Doctored clip goes viral with false claim it shows 2020 Hong Kong bus incident
It has been manipulated to insert audio taken from genuine footage of the Hong Kong bus incident.The video is titled:"Japanese bus driver's technique". The section used in the doctored video starts from the two-minute, 38-second mark and has been sped up.
Below is a screenshot comparison of the video in one of the false posts and the 2011 YouTube video :The location shown in the video corresponds with of a section of Japan's National Route 120 in Nikko -- a mountainous city north of the capital Tokyo. and corresponding street imagery on Google Maps :The audio added to the doctored video was taken from a clipThe 2020 video's traditional-Chinese title reads:"Highway fast and furious, minibus driver almost lost control."
