Earl Cameron was one of the first ever black actors to star in a British film, playing the role of Johnny Lambert in 1951's Pool of London
The Bermuda-born star, who lived with his wife in Kenilworth, Warwickshire, died in his sleep on Friday, family friend Martin Beckett said.
