Benedict Cumberbatch has confirmed that his Marvel Cinematic Universe return as Doctor Strange is coming soon. Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange is one of the most beloved characters in the MCU, with the hero having last appeared in his second solo film, 2022's Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which saw Strange traverse the multiverse to protect America Chavez from a murderous Scarlet Witch.
When talking about what projects he had lined up in the future, Cumberbatch said that "There are some Marvel capers in the making next year." With the actor set to film new scenes as Doctor Strange in 2024, there are a few possible movies that could serve as the character's next destination.
