A new clip from Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness reveals a new monster joining the fray. The film, which is coming to theaters on May 6, 2022, will be the first feature-length Marvel project of 2022 after the success of 2021's Spider-Man: No Way Home, which had a record-breaking box office run that landed it at #3 on the chart of the highest-grossing domestic films of all time.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will follow Doctor Strange and the consequences of the events of No Way Home in which the multiverse began to break open. A new villain will emerge from the splintered universe as Strange faces a variety of multiversal challenges, including an evil version of himself.
However, the creature depicted in this clip from Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness doesn’t seem to belong to either of those two categories. Whether this is a new creature born from the world that already exists or something that has come from an alternate timeline along the multiverse remains an unknown for the time being.
