Officials are offering a $5,000 reward for information that leads to the identification of a car or three suspects after a 19-year-old was shot and killed in Norristown on Sunday, Nov. 30. WATCH HERE When officers got to the scene, they found 19-year-old Hamid Boyd suffering from gunshot wounds and took him to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to police.
“I felt a little hurt, you know, because he was cool," Gabriel Torres, who knew the victim, told NBC10."He was always respectful and he was cool with us." Investigators were able to find surveillance video that captured three men getting into a white sedan and driving away right after the shooting happened, Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin Steele explained.Photo by the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office "Norristown is a tight knit community. Everyone knows everyone and we have reason to believe this targeted act of violence, people out there know what happened, they know why it happened and we need to know this," Norristown Police Chief Michael Trail said.Officials are offering a $5,000 reward for any information leading to the identifications of the three suspects or the vehicle.
