Main programming for the DNC kicks off at 6 p.m. at the United Center and doors open at 4 p.m.Tuesday’s theme is "A Bold Vision for America's Future." The headline speaker of the night will be former President Barack Obama . The DNC committee confirmed the following speakers for the convention's second night:Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders posted on X that he would address the convention at 8:30 p.m. Pritzker was slated to speak at 8 p.m.
All speeches and remarks will be streamed in the video player at the top of this story as well as fox32chicago.com/live and on the FOX LOCAL app for connected TVs.DNC officials said additional speakers will be announced.President Joe Biden kicked off the first day of the convention and was met with a standing ovation from the crowd. Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton also spoke Monday along with Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson.
