The 32-year-old man, of West Palm Beach, is accused of installing at least two credit card skimming devices at a gas station in central Pennsylvania earlier this year, according to police.

Police in Fairview Township, York County, arrested and charged a 32-year-old Florida man after they said DNA test samples determined he installed illegal credit card “skimming” devices at multiple gas pumps in central Pa. earlier this year, according to an affidavit.

The gas station technician said illegal devices, designed to steal credit card information, were wired into the credit card machines on gas pumps #1 and #12. Police photographed the devices before disconnecting and collecting them for evidence. On Feb. 15, police reviewed security footage from the gas station, which showed a dark-colored GMC SUV park at the #1 gas pump around 4 p.m. on Feb. 3. While at the gas pump, police said a white man in tan clothing and a black hat looked around the area while the pump was blocked from view by the SUV’s driver-side doors.
