Questions in the case of a woman killed in Washington state 36 years ago have finally been answered as her killer, now deceased, was identified through DNA technology.
<p>TACOMA, Washington — Tracy Whitney was last seen leaving a Burger King after an argument with her ex-boyfriend in August 1988.
</p><p>Detectives collected DNA samples from her body that presumably belonged to the killer, interviewed people of interest and administered polygraph tests.
