CLEVELAND, Ohio - It’s another dead end for detectives trying to solve a John Doe case out of Mahoning County.Could using new DNA technology be the next step to try to solve it?, showing you how the similarities between a John Doe case and a missing persons case were striking.

Photos placed side-by-side of an unidentified man known as Western Reserve John Doe and Gary Wayne Dover, a missing man from Texas, looked like they could be the same person.“Literally looks exactly like the picture of him living, that they had to compare it to. Literally looks like the exact same person,” said Melanie Porter, Gary’s niece.She was hoping to receive answers soon, no matter the outcome.

“I believe it is.
