In a statement, the DMW said Ople had requested for a two-week break to spend time with family and to attend to her own wellness needs.“I profusely thank President Marcos Jr for not just granting my request but also for conveying his personal condolences,” the statement quoted Ople as saying.while also looking after her own wellness needs.
