Minister in the presidency Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma said comments made by African National Congress head of elections Fikile Mbalula were divisive.
Mbalula’s comments were in response to ANC secretary-general Ace Magashule, who the head of elections said on Friday should know that the election of Ramaphosa as party president in 2017 was a “game changer”. This comes after Magashule told journalists at the IEC results operations centre that South Africans voted for the ANC, not an individual, referring to Ramaphosa.
