Gameloft has delayed Disney Speedstorm, its upcoming kart racer, into next year and cited that it wants to make a game players can enjoy for a long time.

The posts states that the studio is working hard to make a “fast-paced and competitive racing experience [players] will return to play for years to come” while also noting that it needs more time in order to achieve that vision. This time will lead to a “more immersive racing experience” with more customization options and game modes, according to Gameloft.
The team didn’t give an exact timeframe within 2023, so it’s unclear when this racer will be coming out on Switch, PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. However, Gameloft will be providing regular updates before launch over the next several weeks.was originally supposed to launch in the summer, but was quietly moved to sometime within 2022.
