Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will refresh all 1,019 rooms with new carpeting, upholstery, bedding, decor and artwork. resort’s three hotels will be going under the knife this year for an extensive renovation that will refresh every room, renovate an award-winning restaurant and add an exclusive lounge for high rollers.
Disneyland will take a phased approach to updating the Grand Californian with the hotel remaining open throughout the work that is expected to cause minor operational impacts.The 5-star hotel’s Arts & Crafts motif will be maintained with California wildflower accents and new artwork in each room commissioned from local Impressionist plein air painters.
The 2017 renovation introduced hand-designed forested wallpaper, Arts & Crafts ceramics and repeating Redwood forest and California poppy design elements.
