Disney Parks hit back at Abigail Disney, saying she lacks “expertise, insight, or credibility” and adding they were taking a “responsible approach” to reopening.
In an interview with CNN, Abigail Disney criticised the entertainment company owned by her family for putting “profits in front of workers and people” and accused it of not doing enough to shield vulnerable employees from the risk of coronavirus as Walt Disney World reopens in Florida....
In a response to CNN, a spokesperson for Disney Parks said: “While everyone is entitled to their own opinions, they are not entitled to their own facts. The company added: “The media is doing a horrible disservice to the public by giving a platform to someone who lacks any expertise, insight, or credibility on any of these matters at a time when the public needs factual and reliable information.”
