Disney CEO Bob Chapek has extended his contract with the company despite the controversy surrounding him. Chapek, who rose through the ranks of Disney through the Home Entertainment Division and Parks, Experience, and Products, became CEO of Walt Disney in February 2020, replacing longtime CEO Bob Iger. Chapek's tenure coincided with the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, which saw many aspects of Disney's revenue impacted.
