A massive expansion featuring Arendelle and a new nighttime spectacular marks a turning point for the European resortDisneyland Paris has launched a new chapter in its history with the grand opening of World of Frozen, the center of an expansion and rebranding of the resort's second theme park as Disney Adventure World.
The reimagined park aims to immerse visitors in storytelling. At the heart of this reimaging is Adventure Way, a new landscaped promenade featuring the "Raiponce Tangled Spin" attraction and The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge. This new avenue leads to Adventure Bay, a lake that now hosts the "Disney Cascade of Lights" nighttime show. The ceremony began with a reveal as Spider-Man appeared on top of the park's Earffel Tower to announce the new Disney Adventure World name. To kick off the festivities, the first guests to walk the new paths were children and families from the Make-A-Wish foundation. Once inside the new World of Frozen, guests explored a recreation of Arendelle. The land features the "Frozen Ever After" attraction, the "A Celebration in Arendelle" stage show and the Nordic Crowns Tavern, which serves a menu inspired by Scandinavian cuisine. The park's reveal included a welcome ceremony led by Josh D'Amaro, Disney Experiences chairman; Thomas Mazloum, Disney Experiences president; and Natacha Rafalski, présidente of Disneyland Paris. "Disney Adventure World will be known as a place where guests can step into the Disney, Marvel and Pixar stories they love deeply," Mazloum said during the event. The celebration featured a performance by singer Santa, who played a piano while singing "Into the Unknown" from "Frozen 2." Joining Santa, A 10-year-old Make-A-Wish recipient named Lou joined the performance for a duet of "Do You Want to Build a Snowman?" alongside a robotic Olaf. The day also included appearances by international celebrities, including "Emily in Paris" stars Lucas Bravo and Camille Razat, and Spice Girl Emma Bunton. Guests can now step into the magic themselves as Disney Adventure World and the World of Frozen are officially open to the public at Disneyland Paris.Copyright © 2026 OnTheRedCarpet.com.
