A dinosaur superfan managed to convince his horrified wife to spend £27,000 transforming their garden into their very own Jurassic Park - complete with a six-foot T-rex and flying pterodactyls. Mark Kitchen first began his dinosaur collection five years ago after spotting a life-size velociraptor in his local garden centre.

I'm a massive fan of the films too. I always wanted to be a palaeontologist but never got to do it. I just wanted to create a Jurassic prehistoric garden."
"People love it. Everybody that comes thinks it's crazy but it just works. The wife is pretty flexible and loves it now. Everybody has nothing but praise for it.
