“ Last night, I suggested to my husband that we finish off the leftovers in the fridge since we had plenty of food that needed to be eaten,” she recounted. “He immediately countered with, ‘Wouldn’t you rather go get nachos?’ I shook my head and firmly said, ‘No,’” she explained. “He then sighed dramatically, as if I’d crushed his dreams, and declared, “You don’t feed me.” Once the words were out, the tone of the conversation shifted dramatically.
The woman says the argument likely stems from a deeper issue: feeling unappreciated in her relationship. She expressed frustration at the imbalance in their relationship.
