A diner near a plane crash site in Philadelphia was evacuated after debris from the aircraft flew through a window, striking a patron. The Four Seasons Diner, located about half a mile from the crash site, had its window boarded up after the incident.

A diner located near the site of a plane crash in Northeast Philadelphia was evacuated after debris from the aircraft shattered one of its windows on Friday evening. According to FOX 29's Steve Keeley, a small metal fragment, suspected to be from the crashed plane, pierced the glass of a restaurant on Cottman Avenue and struck a patron on the head. The Four Seasons Diner, situated approximately half a mile from the crash site, had its window temporarily boarded up with cardboard.

The incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. when a Jet Rescue Air Ambulance carrying six individuals, including a pediatric patient, crashed at the intersection of Cottman Avenue and Bustleton Avenue. The aircraft was en route to Springfield-Branson National Airport in Missouri, as confirmed by the FAA. Keeley captured an image of what is believed to be a regulator from one of the jet's oxygen tanks, discovered outside a McDonald's adjacent to the diner. This piece of debris, which struck the diner patron in the head, also knocked off his hat. The man and other diners ducked for cover behind the salad bar, assuming gunfire had entered through the window. However, moments later, they learned about the nearby plane crash. Staff reported that the injured patron wiped away some blood from his head and proceeded to an ambulance for medical evaluation. As police continued their around-the-clock efforts at the crash site, they were among the returning customers at the Four Seasons, as it was one of the first establishments on Cottman Avenue to reopen following the incident
