Siobhan Thompson discusses Jaysohn almost dying in Burrow's End, Dimension 20 live show, and Adaine's state of mind in Fantasy High: Junior Year.
Summary The current season of Dimension 20 , Burrow's End, follows a family of stoats as they find a new home after their warren is wiped out by poisonous gas. As they travel through the Blue Forest , they face new dangers and gain new abilities from further exposure to the mysterious Blue. Although their new home seems safe, they are suspicious of the society they have built and their plans to fight the monsters that are destined to return, humans.
What did it feel like when Jaysohn was running towards the Blue, you found out if you made it, you die, you're done? We've also seen Jaysohn grow a lot the last few episodes with a lot of really big intense experiences happening in such a short amount of time. Siobhan Thompson: Decided he didn't like that friend that much, but then his friend is just kind of there. Siobhan Thompson: I don't like this one. Let's go back, let's find another one, and then immediately leave again.
Siobhan Thompson: I mean, I don't think that Jaysohn is thinking that deeply about it.
Siobhan Thompson: Yeah. Jaysohn would love to kill a human. Are you kidding? That would be absolutely rad. Yeah. Yeah, it would be cool. But no thoughts, just vibes. Siobhan Thompson: He's fun to play, because it's just like, yeah, he is exactly what he is, there's no pretense, there's no secrets. The worst liar because he's never even done it, so he doesn't really even know how to do it. Siobhan Thompson: Yeah.
Does Jaysohn have any thoughts about Viola and Thorn becoming parents in the future, especially after him and Lila kind of terrorized Thorn for an afternoon? Has there been a particular NPC that has maybe stood out to you in Burrow's End so far, because Aabria has just introduced so many great ones on top of each other?
They just show up at his house anyway and it works out. I love it. It seems like you went from Burrow's End into Fantasy High: Junior Year. Because Jaysohn and Adaine are such different characters, what was fun about that transition? Very cool. Is there a genre that you haven't really had the opportunity to fully plan in the Dimension 20 space that you think would be really fun to in the future?
Siobhan Thompson: I haven't shot anything since Junior Year. I know that there's one that has been done, a side quest that's been done after that that I've heard rumors of. All of the rumors have been the stupidest f-cking sh-t I've ever heard, so get ready for that. It's really dumb. It's like, you think that previous seasons of Dimension 20 have been stupid? Well, buckle up, buttercup, this is some dumb stuff.
