Personal na dumalo si Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Benhur Abalos sa isinagawang conference sa Davao City Police Office kaugnay sa imbestigasyon sa nangyaring pabaril at pagpatay sa negosyante at modelong si Yvonette Plaza.

Sa ulat ni RGil Relator sa GMA Regional TV"One Mindanao" nitong Biyernes, sinabi ni Abalos na nangako sila sa kaanak ng 38-anyos na biktima na gagawin nila ang lahat upang mahuli ang mga salarin.

Sa ulat nitong Huwebes, hiniling ng ina ni Yvonnete na si Ginang Henrietta, na mabigyan sana ng hustisya ang sinapit ng kaniyang anak na inilarawan niya na mapagbigay at mapagmahal. "Sana mabigyan ng hustisya si Yvonne para maging panatag din siya at kami rin na mga magulang niya," hiling ng ina.Inatasan ni Abalos ang binuong Special Investigation Task Group na madaliin ang pagtukoy sa mga pumaslang sa biktima.

May mensahe ring ibinigay si Abalos sa salarin na nahuli-cam na bumaril sa biktima sa labas ng bahay nito noong Disyembre 28. "Ako'y nanawagan kung nandyan yung gunman ngayon. May reward na nakapataw sa ulo mo, mag-ingat ka baka mamaya yung mismong nag-utos sa iyo ang papatay sa iyo rito," paalala ng kalihim.Una rito, nag-anunsyo ang pulisya ng P1 milyon pabuya sa sinumang makapagbibigay ng impormasyon para matukoy ang pagkakakilan ng riding in tandem na bumaril sa biktima. --
