A little after the two minute mark in the trailer, there’s snippets shown of a scene that didn’t actually appear in the final version of the film. The scene takes place on a film lot, in between soundstages. People are running and screaming, while a man dressed in hospital scrubs and a jacket walks calmly and slowly… in the opposite direction of the frenzied crowd.
A few seconds later, we see a part of the scene in which young Ricky “Jupe” Park hides from Gordy the chimpanzee's rampage. A few moments later in the film, Gordy is shot and killed right in front of Jupe. Context clues for those who have seen the film tell us that the screaming crowd was most likely the live audience from the ill-fated taping of. So who is the mysterious man, and why is the camera focusing on him? Where is he headed? Is he the one who kills Gordy? What connection does he have to the show’s cast, or to the strange events of Agua Dulce?
But it gets even more mysterious — the man is only credited in the film’s trailer, and he’s listed as a character named “Nobody.” Nobody is played by comedian Michael Busch, who has appeared on
