Things are seriously “Much Better” between them now.
The Jonas Brothers have finally kicked off their 5-night Las Vegas residency, performing their greatest hits for their most devoted fans. Over the weekend, clips of Joe Jonas singing an updated version of “Much Better" during one of the residency shows began to circulate online. “Much Better” is long believed to be in reference to Taylor Swift, and the changed lyric has fans appreciating Joe's growth.
ICYMI: Joe and Taylor briefly dated in 2008. Their split became one of the hottest topics of discussion back in the day after Taylor revealed that Joe had broken up with her over a“When I find that person that is right for me, he’ll be wonderful.
In the original song, Joe opens the song singing: “I get a rep for breakin' hearts / Now I'm done with superstars / And all the tears on her guitar / I’m not bitter.” Well, during a recent show as part of the Jonas Brothers’ Las Vegas residency at the Park MGM's Dolby Live theater, Joe decided to bury the hatchet once and for all by giving the “Much Better” lyrics aupdate. Instead of singing the original opening line, Joe surprised concertgoers by singing: “I got a rep for breaking hearts / Now I’m cool with superstars / And all the tears on her guitar.”
