‘Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ star Jessi Draper apologized to Miranda Hope with a bouquet of flowers amid rumors she kissed Chase McWhorter, Miranda Hope’s ex-husband.
, and the two have been locked in some very bitter proceedings since then, with Draper accusing Ngatikaura of emotional abuse onex. On Thursday, multiple tabloids claimed Draper was recently spotted at a party with Chase McWhorter, ex-husband of fellow #MomTok member Miranda Hope.
Draper and McWhorter were “seen being cozy” and “later kissing” at the party, according tobut insisted it was casual. “They were having fun at a party and it’s not serious between them,” the source said. One person for whom this might be a little more serious? Hope, with whom McWhorter shares two children. Later on Thursday, Hope posted a photo to her Instagram Story of an apology bouquet Draper seemingly sent her amid the rumors. She also included the note that came with it: “I completely understand you being upset with me but wanted to send you a little something to let you know I’m thinking about you and I am so, so sorry,” read the note, which was signed “Jessi.” “Received the prettiest flowers just minutes ago,” Hope captioned it, along with an upside-down-smiley emoji.shortly afterward where she not-so-subtly appeared to call out Draper. “GRWM while I process my friend group being a waiting room for my ex-husband,” she wrote over a video of her curling her eyelashes. “It’s not even a betrayal at this point, it’s a tradition,” she captioned the post, which she set to Kesha’s “Backstabber.” Oof. Hope isn’t exaggerating about it being tradition — McWhorter once briefly datedEntertainment Tonight, saying McWhorter had told her he and Draper kissed. “Jessi reached out only after she knew Chase had told me something was going on with them,” she said. “And today, at the same time a rumor started spreading online that something was going on with Chase and Jessi, I received apology flowers from Jessi.” Hope said she didn’t want it “misconstrued” that she has “any emotional attachment to Chase.” “He is my co-parent. Although I do feel disrespected by Chase, I feel slighted by my friend,” she said. “Chase and I are no longer partners, and while I have high expectations of him as a co-parent, I also hold my friends to a high standard and believe in girl code.” Fair enough.
