Dragon Ball Daima somewhat teased Goku's Super Saiyan form in the series' fifth episode, during a test of strength brought about by the King of the Third Demon World. Unfortunately for fans waiting with bated breath to see a Super Saiyan smack-down, Goku's hair turned gold for only a split second, before reverting to its normal shade.
Dragon Ball Daima Introduces Super Saiyan Goku to Glorio Goku's Iconic Power-Up Makes Its Daima Debut Close ✕ Remove Ads Dragon Ball Daima's latest episode finally pinned Goku against the ever mysterious Glorio, following a humorous encounter with a Minotaur who threatened to eat the main squad for breakfast. After insulting the beast, the two fighters ignore the threat entirely to have their own sparring match.
Due in large part to more modern animation, Goku's first transformation is also brimming with style. Rather than have the change in appearance happen suddenly, Daima chooses to showcase the Saiyan gradually taking the form, including an impressive close-up shot of his eye changing color behind a floating piece of debris.
