Dick Rosenzweig, whose 61-year tenure with Playboy Enterprises included serving as president and executive producer of the Playboy Jazz Festival, has died. He was 84.

Rosenzweig also was a founding member of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles and The Wallis Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills. After serving as senior vp and director of marketing, Rosenzweig was appointed executive vp of the publishing group, the company's largest division.
"I really don't feel that the Playboy festival would have been more than a one-time event in 1979 without Dick's total support, enthusiasm and guidance," said, a veteran producer of the event."He really was the driving force for the longtime continuation of the festival and was responsible for making it the landmark event that it is."
