Dick and Angel's Secret France sees the couple exploring the country beyond their residence. They are renowned for inviting viewers into their home over the years as they refurbished a rundown French chateau. The couple got axed from Channel 4 following an independent enquiry into their behaviour on the show, initiated after production company Two Rivers Media flagged some issues. Dick and Angel Strawbridge have confirmed they've chosen to cease their partnership with the broadcaster. They released a statement saying: "We know there are lots of stories in the press right now. It's not worth us even trying to comment or give context, because anything can be made into a good headline. We understand. There are two sides to every story and from the incredible support we have received, most of you know that.
