Diane Keaton took everyone down memory lane and, once again, proved that she has the best personal style
, and rarely wears anything that isn’t black or white. This week, the actor took a trip down memory lane on Instagram, digging deep into her always-chic archive to revisit images of her favorite ensembles, offering quippy commentary along the way.
Keaton dresses up to introduce the video, tucking a crisp white shirt—her go-to piece!—into a pair of high-waisted, wide-leg jeans. “Even when I was young, I was way into fashion,” says Keaton. “My mom and I used to pick out patterns, and then I’d tell her what I wanted, and she’d do it for me.” As Keaton explains, she still cuts out her favorite fashion images from magazines, fashion inspiration she used to share with her mother.
Keaton then brings out a scrapbook of outfits which, unsurprisingly, is full of winners. Highlights include a pristine white suit that she “might have worn it to some sort of awards show,” she says flashing an image of herself wearing it on the red carpet with Morgan Freeman. “He had to kiss me in that outfit.
