The Caloocan City local government unit has signed a memorandum of agreement with DHSUD which would pave the way for the construction of housing units for more than 12,000 families. ManilaBulletin
DHSUD Secretary Jose Rizalino Acuzar said the housing project will be composed of 24 buildings and will be situated in Bankers and Deparo areas both in Caloocan City.
“This is expected to address the housing concerns of more than 20 percent of the Caloocan City’s residents,” said Acuzar. Pag-IBIG Fund Chief Executive Officer Marilene Acosta, who also signed the agreement along with Caloocan City Mayor Dale Gonzalo Malapitan, said the agreement reiterated Pag-IBIG’s support to help ensure the project’s completion.
