is a crime drama mini-series based on the Dexter novels by Jeff Lindsay. It has been developed as a continuation of the series Dexter, which aired from 2006 to 2013. Set ten years after the events of the original series finale, it follows Dexter Morgan, who faked his death ten years ago and moved to New York. He had kept his identity hidden and goes by the name Jim Lindsay, working as a clerk and dating the town’s chief of police, Angela Bishop.
Season 1 aired from November 7, 2021, to January 9, 2022, and consists of ten episodes. Clyde Phillips, the original showrunner, reprised his role in the mini-series centered around Dexter’s relationship with his son.
