If anyone can speak to Jalen Hurts’ development over the years, it’s DeVonta Smith.
The Philadelphia Eagles teammates have known each other longer before the Eagles drafted the former Alabama stars.
“He’s developed a lot just from seeing the field, going through reads and things like that,” Smith told Slay. “Overall, he’s a guy that is going to be coachable and a guy that’s going to coach up other people. If they aren’t at the right place at the right time, he’s going to let you know. He knows how to go about it. He’s not one of those guys that’s just going to get on you and yell at you. He’s going to help you understand the reason why you are doing it and why you supposed to be there.
Hurts was benched for Tua Tagovailoa and watched as the now-Miami Dolphins quarterback hit Smith on the famous second-and-26, game-winning touchdown pass in overtime to beat Georgia in the CFP national championship game.
