The Devil Wears Prada 2 recieves an exciting casting announcement as production on the sequel movie is now officially underway.
There’s been talk of making a sequel to The Devil Wears Prada 2 for years, though it officially entered early development in July 2024.Branagh has directed and starred in a number of William Shakespeare adaptations, including 1989’s Henry V, 1993’s Much Ado About Nothing, 1996’s Hamlet, and more.
In recent years, he’s largely recognized for playing Hercule Poirot in 2017’s Murder on the Orient Express, 2022’s Death on the Nile, and 2023’s A Haunting in Venice, all of which he also directed. “Plot details for the sequel haven’t been confirmed, but the storyline reportedly follows Miranda Priestly as she navigates her career amid the decline of traditional magazine publishing,” the article notes. “She faces off against Blunt’s character, her one-time assistant who is now a high-powered executive for a luxury group with advertising dollars that Priestly desperately needs.
