McGann is facing two counts of capital murder for his alleged involvement in the double homicide.

The man accused of the Devil's Den State Park double homicide pleaded not guilty to two capital murder charges Thursday morning at his arraignment hearing.43-year-old Clinton David Brink and 41-year-old Cristen Amanda Brink on July 26 while on a hiking trail at the Arkansas-based state park.

ABC affiliate 40/29 News reported Prosecuting Attorney Brandon Carter said he anticipates a gag order will be issued.McGann's next court date was scheduled for Nov. 14.in Springdale, Ark., authorities arrested him at around 4:57 p.m. After investigators observed McGann with multiple cuts on his hands, he was detained. Investigators searched his vehicle, where a large amount of blood was found in his 2022 Kia Stinger. During his first appearance on Aug. 1, he was appointed a public defender and ordered to have no contact with the victim's family by Washington County Prosecuting Attorney Brandon Carter. He is being held without bond at the Washington County Detention Center, where he will remain until the end of his trial.
