In celebration of #WomensDay #TheDeviShow highlights the work of three outliers who never saw glass ceilings.

Known as an inclusive innovation and cultural diplomacy practitioner, Lesley Donna Williams is a Pan-African Globalist who mainstreams African excellence through leadership development and value creation. She is currently breaking barriers by creating common ground for entrepreneurs in the digital innovation precinct in Braamfontein, downtown Jozi.We might wonder about life on other planets but most of us can't really do much about it.

But a Cape Town-based theoretical physicist is looking for a lift to the moon to continue her work in sustaining life and habitable environments, beyond earth. She’s visited all seven continents in her quest to work in extreme conditions and push her body and mind to the max. The Devi Show delved into the incredible mind of Dr Adriana Marais.She’s the woman who set out to prove that she could climb the world’s highest mountains and become the first black African woman to summit Everest.

She faced Everest four times - and even when disaster and tragedy showed up, she kept going in her quest to fly our flag even higher.
