He also thanks the ANC's alliance partners and representatives from the international community who attended."We should show no mercy to those who steal money for the poor, whoever they are," says Ramaphosa.Ramaphosa reiterates that his mission the course of this second term will be to unite and renew the ANC.
"We have recognised that corruption within the ANC is indeed a great threat to the party’s continued existence,” says Ramaphosa.Ramaphosa says they will elaborate further on the"steps to be taken" on 5 January. The"original sin" of land dispossession must be addressed. He says land reform is not only to address an injustice but also to aid to grow the economy.
