A massive fire ignited in Lehi, engulfing multiple structures under construction near the Point of the Mountain. Developers overseeing the buildings destroyed in the Lehi fire said they plan to resume construction.

In a statement, Wood Partners said work will restart once the extent of the damage is fully assessed and investigators have completed their review. After the massive fire at a construction site in Lehi, there have been more questions than answers about what exactly caused the fire.Just after 10 a.m. Nov. 9, nearby residents witnessed a shocking scene as the planned Alta Vista development, intended to feature more than 300 multifamily housing units, erupted in flames."Well, my daughter screamed at me, 'Mom, look out the window!'" said Juli Beckwith, who lives near the site. "I look out the window, and I see towering piles of smoke, and I can see the flames above the house in front of us. It was really scary." One week after the blaze, Lehi Fire Chief Jeremy Craft said investigators have wrapped up their on-site review, and the property will soon be returned to its owners."We started looking at it, we quickly realized it was too big of a fire for Lehi Fire to investigate by ourselves," said Jeremy Craft, Lehi Fire Chief."At this time, it's an undetermined fire, is how we are going to classify it," Craft said. "We know where the fire started, but we don't know how the fire started. We haven't ruled arson out, but we haven't proved arson.""I still feel that there could have been, not knowing what the cause is, that it could have been safer," said Matthew Beckwith, who also lives nearby. "I just think once they find the cause, the root cause, then they can address resolution, but until that, it's just a mystery, and it's a concern for us that this might happen again.""Wood Partners is working closely with local officials through the investigation, cleanup and recovery processes from the fire that occurred on November 9 at Alta Vista. We intend to resume construction on the 304-unit multifamily development as soon as we can, following completion of the investigation and clearing of the damage on the site. An updated timeline has not yet been determined."As part of an ongoing homicide investigation in Saratoga Springs, the Federal Bureau of Investigation arrived on scene to search the Jordan River.According toA 53-year-old woman was arrested for aggravated kidnapping and assault after police said she stabbed her husband multiple times during an argument.Police wereTrump announced on Friday that the checks would not be distributed before the holidays.Dive teams started their search of the Jordan River on Monday morning as part of the ongoing investigation into the deaths of Jessica Lyman, 44, and her 8-year-A man was killed after a pickup lost control and spun across the road into an oncoming semi in Utah County.According to Lt.
