The devastated mother who lost a child and her husband in Sunday’s unthinkable train accident has asked people not to donate to her family amid concerns the tragedy will be exploited by online scammers.
The heartbroken mother who lost her husband and daughter at Carlton Station in Sydney's south in a train accident has made a plea to those looking to help the family.
An outpouring of support for the family came after the tragic deaths, particularly from members of the 103,000-strong ‘Indians in Sydney’ Facebook group. “The family got in touch and asked us not to do that,” Mr Ahmed told The Daily Mail Australia, adding concerns the family did not want fraudsters to exploit the situation for personal gain.
