A man is due in court following a 'robbery' at a convenience store.
The alleged incident occurred at around 4.40pm on Sunday afternoon at a store in Burnbank Centre in the Hamilton area.
Reports on social media claim that detectives were seen at the shop taking photos as part of an investigation.spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a robbery at a shop at Burnbank Centre in Hamilton around 4.40pm on Sunday, October 22.“A 30-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident. He is due to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Monday, October 23.
