A 21-year-old man was fatally wounded during a shooting in Lemon Grove on Saturday night, officials said.
Deputies heard several gunshots around 11:35 p.m. and went to check a nearby business area on School Lane near Central Avenue, said sheriff’s Lt. Michael Krugh. That’s where they found 21-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.No suspect information was released. The name of the victim also has not been released.
Anyone with any information regarding the shooting was asked to call the sheriff’s Homicide Unit at 285-6330 or, after hours, at 285-6232. Anonymous tips can be made to Crime Stoppers at 580-8477.
