The deadline for applying for primary school and pre-school places passed on January 31
With just a few days to go until school places are announced in Northern Ireland for September 2024 entry, there are key details from the Education Authority that parents and carers should be aware of.
How will primary and pre-school school places be announced? Parents/carers will receive application outcomes via email or by letter on Thursday, April 25. However, the final date/time by which the Education Authority will consider this information was January 31, 2024, at 4pm. After this date new/additional information will not be processed until after April 25, 2024.How can I get in touch with the Education Authority for help or assistance? If additional information is required or any difficulty is experienced, parents can contact the admissions helpdesk via 028 9598 5595 between 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
