These factors concern a federally funded after-school feeding program into which the federal government thrust millions of dollars, believing the city would adequately manage the nutrition initiative. —As its director, the Dothan Leisure Services department of the city managed the feeding program and ultimately took the first step in firing Wingfield. After four years, she resigned in March to take a similar position in Auburn, where she worked before coming to Dothan.
