A Ukrainian refugee is desperately trying to help his parents escape intense bombing attacks in his home country.
Yurii, 35, needs to find someone in Scotland who is willing to sponsor their application to move here. “I am worried that this could lead to problems with their gas and electricity supplies in the winter. I don’t know how my parents will survive that. Top news stories today IT expert Yurii said he will be happy to help with any administrative issues relating to the sponsorship application.
And for the past six months they have been living in a two-bedroom council flat in Kirkintilloch, near Glasgow.
