The Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver posted several fake Adolf Hitler quotes to his Instagram story over the past few days. Jackson later publicly apologized while clarifying he had no hatred toward the Jewish community.
In the initial post from the July 4 weekend that raised eyebrows for its anti-Semitic tone, a fake quote from Hitler said World War III would be started to stop White Jewish people in America from oppressing the Black community. Jackson reposted the fabricated quote on his Instagram story Monday with his clarification to some of the backlash.
Then, after his clarification post, the 33-year-old receiver posted another quote that read,"This will extort America, their plan for world domination won't work if the Negroes know who they are." In that post, Jackson scribbled out other portions."I post a lot of things that are sent to me," Jackson wrote as a caption to the Instagram video."I do not have hatred towards anyone. I really didn’t realize what this passage was saying.
"Now, more than ever, we must work together to end discrimination of all types and against all people and communities."
