Ron DeSantis would defeat President Biden in a 2024 general election matchup in Georgia, while former President Trump would narrowly lose to the incumbent, according to a new poll.of 500 registered Peach State voters, conducted May 15‐17, found that 45% would back DeSantis, 44, compared to 42% who would vote for Biden.
The poll also shows that former Vice President Mike Pence would lose to Biden in Georgia by the same margin as Trump, with 44% supporting Biden compared to 43% backing Pence, 63.
