Tickets for the singer and actor’s holiday tour with stops at Inglewood and Riverside went on sale Friday, Aug. 2.
Derek Hough is bringing his Dance for the Holidays tour to the YouTube Theater in Inglewood on Saturday, Dec. 21, and the Fox Performing Arts Center in Riverside on Thursday, Dec. 26. Emmy Award-winning actor and “Dancing with the Stars” judge Derek Hough is bringing his first-ever Christmas show to Southern California.
The Derek Hough Dance for the Holidays tour will stop at the YouTube Theater in Inglewood on Saturday, Dec. 21, and the Fox Performing Arts Center in Riverside on Thursday, Dec. 26. Tickets for the event went on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 2 atThe show is produced by Tony and Drama Desk Award-nominated producer Greg Young from the live entertainment production management company Mojave Ghost.
Hough is the most nominated choreographer in Television Academy history. He debuted in the feature film “Make Your Move” and had a recurring role on the ABC series “Nashville.” His stage performances include working on Radio City Music Hall’s Spring Spectacular, co-starring alongside the Tony Award-winning Laura Benanti, and the critically acclaimed production of “Footloose” in which he starred as the male lead.
The “Dancing with the Stars” champ previously performed as a pro dancer on the show and is the only one to score a mirror ball trophy six times in the franchise’s history. Hough has been invited to judge other dance competitions alongside Jennifer Lopez and Ne-Yo for the NBC series “World of Dance,” where he weighed in for four seasons. He also made waves with his 2014 memoir “Taking the Lead: Lessons from a Life in Motion,” which was placed on the New York Times Best-Seller list.
