Luis Aguirre, 22, and Amanda Eichelberger, 21, were arrested at a Best Western hotel in the 20000 block of Eagle Ford Way.
Deputies confiscated over $11,000 worth of meth during a hotel room drug bust in South Bexar County, the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office reported. Deputies were conducting an investigation on March 12 near South Loop 1604 and Interstate 37 South when they were led to a Best Western hotel in the 20000 block of Eagle Ford Way. They located Luis Aguirre, 22, who was wanted on multiple outstanding warrants and detained him without incident, according to the sheriff’s office.
South American drug lord arrested in New Braunfels was still issuing commands to Colombian syndicate Deputies then discovered the two were in possession of 1.2 pounds of methamphetamine with an estimated street value of $11,300, according to the sheriff’s office. Aguirre has been charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver over 400 grams. His bail for that charge was set at $75,000.
