The approved budget aligned with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s directive to fully harness the nation's educational potential. It would support critical initiatives such as the construction of new classrooms, rehabilitation of school facilities, the DepEd Computerization Program, procurement of learning tools and equipment, teacher recruitment and training, the School-Based Feeding Program, and various government assistance and subsidies.
